Zizi's Vegan Restaurant

Zizi's Vegan Restaurant Website had clear goals and needs in a redesign of their existing web property: easy information, simple menu, and good menu item photos. Simple, handcoded HTML/CSS/Jquery power this single-page site, which provides bold, signature colors, easy email newsletter signups, social links, and a easy to read menu. Zizi's new website design launched in December 2010 and has been raved by viewers since launch.

College of Arts + Architecture at UNCC

Contracted through mode visual, I handled Front-End HTML/CSS/Jquery Coding and PSD Slicing for the redesign of the College of Arts + Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Coding this project was a dream, as the gorgeous grid layout carries over to all pages on the site. Heavy Jquery was required for multiple UI elements, both major and subtle. It was also a pleasure working with the mode visual staff. The new site has been online since Summer 2010.

I served as Interactive Director at Heels.com for 2 years, including any Front-End HTML/CSS/Jquery Coding needs, email marketing, and social media channel management. A proud 2009 Internet Retailer Hot 100 E-tailer, Heels.com is a top women's shoe online retailer. Focusing on refined and focused UI, deep levels of customer service information and interaction, and strong social sharing capabilities pushes Heels.com to the top of many e-commerce measurement and analytic studies and reports.

Dreamwater

I managed Front-End HTML/CSS/Jquery Coding requirements for DrinkDreamwater.com for 1 year. I also managed and drove their email marketing, and created all social media channels and blogs. The Dreamwater site is built upon an X-Cart backend, providing both a rich marketing front-end, and scalable e-commerce backend. DrinkDreamwater.com has been online since late 2009.

Armando Bellmas Photography

Renowed Charlotte-based professional photographer Armando Bellmas needed a unique, horizontal-scrolling site layout to easily showcase his photo galleries. I was able to provide a non-flash based, perfectly horizontally scrolling solution, fluidly filling the viewport and successfully Yahoo A-Grade browser compatible.

Contracted through Fuel Brand, I provided Carbon Ads with Front-End HTML/CSS/Jquery Coding and PSD Slicing for the CarbonAds.com project. Site utilizes creative grid-based layout and intricate back-end for administrators as well as advertising customers. Carbonads.com has been online since Summer 2010.

Queen City Vegan

Hyperlocal blog Queencityvegan.com focuses on providing Vegan lifestyle information, links, resources, restaurants, and shopping links and reviews in the Charlotte, NC area. Built upon a Wordpress backend, the site uses bold colors and striking calls-to-action in it's design, invoking both excitement and curiosity to both new visitors and long-time readers. Queencityvegan.com has been online since 2009.

Norcom Properties

When Norcom Properties, a Charlotte Based retail property management company, needed a new online presence, they turned to me to refine their existing site mockups into an effective site. Pure, simple, unobtrusive HTML/CSS/Jquery power this site, which provides current and future space offerings, agent relationship opportunities, and subtle imagery. NorcomProperties.com has been online since late 2007 and was my very first Charlotte client.

Heels.tv

This project was my first I tackled after coming on board with the Heels.com team in 2009. We created Heels.tv to showcase all the great production and blog videos related to women's shoe fashion. Using a Kohana-based MVC backend, and a simple interface that presents vivid imagery and video. Using a Flash/Javascript based video player, utilizing H.264 encoded videos, and Jquery navigation, the site generates many conversions for Heels.com, and has been complimented and showcased in the online shoe industry.
